Surat al-Bayyinah merupakan surat ke 98 yang terdiri atas 8 ayat. Surat ini termasuk surat madaniyyah karena diturunkan setelah Nabi saw. hijrah ke Madinah. al-Bayyinah berarti bukti yang nyata. Isi pokok dari surat al-Bayyinah adalah tentang pernyataan ahli kitab dan orang musyrik bahwa mereka akan tetap sampai datang Nabi yang dijanjikan Tuhan.
Al Bayyinah memiliki arti Pembuktian. Surat ini terdiri dari 8 ayat. Berikut merupakan bacaan suart Al Bayyinah beserta terjemahannya: 1. لَمْ يَكُنِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ مُنفَكِّينَ حَتَّىٰ تَأْتِيَهُمُ ٱلْبَيِّنَةُ
The Surah is so designated after the word al-bayyinah occurring at the end of the first verse. Period of Revelation Where it was revealed, at Makkah or Madinah, is also disputed. Some commentators say it is a Makki revelation according to most scholars; others say it is a Madani revelation according to most scholars. They ask you ˹O Prophet˺ regarding the spoils of war. Say, “Their distribution is decided by Allah and His Messenger. So be mindful of Allah, settle your affairs, and obey Allah and His Messenger if you are ˹true˺ believers.”
